Our offer
From July 2027 we offer a position in the curriculum family medicine. The rotations take place at the USZ and in cooperation with outpatient medical practices. In psychiatry, you will acquire practical skills in dealing with a wide range of mental illnesses, from consiliar psychiatric issues to acute psychiatric emergencies, and benefit from close interdisciplinary cooperation. In geriatrics, you get to know the multifaceted care of older people in different care settings and deepen central competencies for the later family practice, for example in dealing with frailty, cognitive disorders, polypharmacy, treatment goals and ethical issues. In practice assistance, you put your acquired skills directly into everyday family practice, take on increasingly independent responsibility and experience the full breadth and continuity of basic care. For this post, dossiers from recruiters cannot be considered. Thank you for your understanding. Our Benefits

The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Zürich is CHF 73'500 - 111'500 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ). The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.

The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Universitätsspital Zürich (USZ) during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Zürich?
EU/EFTA residents living in the border zone of the country adjoining Canton Zürich can apply for a G permit; the Swiss employer files it with that canton's migration office after the contract is signed. Border-zone rules and processing times vary by neighbouring country and canton, so confirm the specifics with Zürich's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
