In this responsible role, you ensure the professional preparation of medical devices and flexible endoscopes and thus make an important contribution to patient safety.

YOUR TASKS

• Competent and professional preparation of medical devices according to recognised quality standards
• Material and professional preparation of flexible endoscopes including cleaning, disinfection, functional control, care and documentation
• Ensuring proper sterilisation procedures and carrying out the necessary checks and clearances
• Compilation and maintenance of instrument screens, sets and individual materials
• Cleaning, operation and monitoring of AEMP cleaning and disinfection equipment, sterilizers and other technical equipment
• Co-responsibility for compliance with all relevant standards, laws and guidelines as well as administrative work within the framework of the required documentation
• Responsibility for the management and storage of sterile goods and for ensuring, promoting and verifying the quality of work

Your profile

• Completed training as medical device technologist / medical device technologist EFZ (MPT) or as technical sterilization assistant / technical sterilization assistant with specialist knowledge I or II; Several years of professional experience in an AEMP
• A completed further development in the processing of flexible endoscopes is advantageous.
• Independent, self-responsible and efficient working methods, a high level of quality awareness and technical understanding
• Good MS-Office user knowledge
• Experience with an electronic sterile goods management system (EuroSDS) is an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Good knowledge of German at level B2
