For our local organization CARMA / Barry Callebaut Schweiz AG we are looking for an agreement or a

Area Sales Manager m/w/d 100%

In this exciting role you are on the road every day to look after existing customers and find new businesses and opportunities. You are responsible for the main areas of focus Central Switzerland (LU, ZG, SZ, UR, OW, NW) as well as other regions to be determined – ideally you are also at home there.

Main tasks

• finding business opportunities by identifying potential customers and assessing their position in the industry; research and analysis of sales options; selling products by contacting and building relationships with potential customers; recommending individual solutions and cross-selling; maintaining relationships with existing customers through support, information and advice; exploring and recommending new opportunities to maintain and expand their business; gathering sales and project information in Salesforce and regular feedback;

to the Sales Manager - Analysis of the current market situation and of the traders in the defined areas - Identification of product improvements or new products based on industry trends, market activities and competitors

About you

• Completed apprenticeship as a baker, pastry maker, confiseur or similar
• Additional training in sales and/or trade
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Swiss food industry
• Passion for chocolate and food ingredients
• Open and proactive personality
• someone who handles things
• native language German and good English skills, other languages of advantage
• Good IT skills, previous experiences with Salesforce are beneficial
• Knowledge of Swiss trade channels (mass market and traditional trade)
• Driving licence (B)
