You work as an automation engineer: primarily on the development and construction of complex control and automation systems in modern building automation. You put these plants into operation, repair them and create the corresponding technical documents.
Your tasks
- In development and production, you analyze the requirements of the customer and work with the technical office on new projects.
- You check which work steps can be automated
- You use specialized software or develop new solutions
- You plan the production process, monitor it and create technical documents for operation and maintenance.
- During assembly and commissioning, you set up control and automation systems, connect wires and hoses as required
- You perform functional tests and observe safety regulations.
- You put the systems into operation, connect devices to the control system and train the users.
