Full description
Without electricity no water – and without you no electricity! In the water supply of the city of Zurich, you can expect an exciting apprenticeship in a unique industrial environment. You will get to know the entire spectrum of electrical engineering – from low current and control systems to high-performance low-voltage systems, which are used in our modern processing and pumping plants throughout the city of Zurich. If you love technology, like tinkering and want to make a difference, you are exactly right with us for the 4-year training!
Tasks
- You create electrical installations for business and industry.
- You install complex networks in telecommunications or for electronic control systems.
- You carry out regular checks on electrical systems.
- You maintain the systems, locate and fix disruptions.
- You know the safety rules and adhere to them.
Profile
- Planned school leaving at secondary school level A or B
- Good grades in mathematics, geometry and physics
- Good fine motor skills and craftsmanship
- Abstract logical thinking and technical understanding
- No color vision, cable colors must be distinguished
