The GZO Spital Wetzikon is an innovative acute hospital in the Zurich Oberland with 150 beds and around 900 employees. We, as the best-chosen hospital kitchen in 2023 with the Viktor Award, are offering one for the start of training in August 2027
During your training as a chef EFZ, you will learn how to prepare hot and cold dishes and arrange them decoratively. You accept deliveries of fresh products, check incoming orders, prepare the equipment for preparation and process the food. You ensure cleanliness and order as well as a smooth workflow. You can gain further experience during a two-week assignment at a restaurant and at external training days such as: B. Visiting Felchlin and Victorinox, fish filleting at Rageth Comestible, etc.
- Requirements In addition to a minimum age of 15 years, the requirements include completion of secondary school A or B, quick comprehension, a strong sense of taste, enjoyment of working with food, a sense of order and organizational talent, good health (no food or contact allergies), ability to work in a team, willingness to work irregular hours and good knowledge of spoken and written German.
