Application process
- The Application Engineer develops technical proposals for projects including proposing modifications to the standard design and configures the using design and costing tools.
- Works independently and develops technical responses to the customer. Essential Functions:
- Applies in-depth knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
- Screens customer's inquiries to ensure they contain all information required to submit a quotation.
- Liaises with sales /customers to obtain any missing information.
- Collects, understands, and interprets customer’s requirements for new and/or operating data from customer’s existing systems
- Development of the technical proposal/quotation, including equipment description and specifications, and reviews and negotiates necessary technical revisions with the customer.
- Responds to questions and inquiries from the customer regarding technical problems and issues that arise and provides related technical support or assistance, in a timely manner.
