This is the job

• You design scalable, secure and economical architectures for AI solutions, especially in the areas of GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI.
• You will translate business requirements into viable technical AI solution concepts and advise our customers on the selection of suitable AI services, tools and frameworks.
• You design data and integration architectures and ensure connection to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) as well as existing enterprise systems.
• You will establish best practices in MLOps/LLMOps, systematic tests (evals), guardrails, monitoring and cost control of AI solutions.
• You take privacy, information security, Responsible AI and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU AI Act) into account in your architectures right from the start.
• You work closely with data scientists, engineers, departments and management, act as a bridge between business and technology and represent architectural decisions convincingly up to the C-level.
• You are actively involved in the further development of our AI offering, support in acquisitions, offers and customer presentations and share your knowledge in the team.

This job is for you if

• You have completed studies in computer science, business informatics, data science, engineering or a comparable education.
• You have several years of professional experience in the architecture and implementation of software, data or AI solutions, ideally in consulting.
• You have in-depth knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases and common frameworks (e.g. Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain, LangGraph).
• You have practical experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms and their AI services (e.g. Microsoft Foundry with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
• You are confident in programming languages like Python and familiar with APIs, microservices, containerization and CI/CD.
• You understand the security, privacy and governance aspects of AI systems and incorporate them into your solutions.
• You can communicate complex technical relationships in an understandable and convincing manner to different target groups, from the development team to the C-level.
• You speak German and English with confidence in negotiations.

• Experience building agent solutions: Multi-Agent Orchestration, MCP (Model Context Protocol), Evals and Human-in-the-Loop
• Experience with data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) to connect AI solutions to the enterprise data landscape
