In this role, you combine modern software development, Azure cloud services and AI to create scalable, secure and user-centric solutions that directly contribute to the digital transformation of the enterprise.

Your area of responsibility

• The retrieval and response quality of our AI solutions is continuously improved by developing, optimizing and evaluating the RAG pipeline along the entire processing chain.
• Design and implement agentic AI workflows to automate and support internal processes
• Our Finance AI platform is constantly being expanded in Python, from the Chainlit frontend to the Agent Orchestrator and the Ingestion Pipeline to the MCP-based tool connection.
• You work with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry in agent orchestration, model deployments, prompt engineering, evaluation and monitoring
• Connect internal systems and data sources to the platform and its agents using tool use, function calling, APIs and document processing
• Through code reviews as well as manual and automated tests you ensure a high code and solution quality

Your strengths

• You have at least five years of experience in software development in the enterprise environment and are very familiar with common development processes and toolchains
• Excellent knowledge of Python as well as practical front-end experience with React, Chainlit or similar technologies
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code rounds off your profile
• In-depth practical experience with RAG architectures is part of your technical backpack, especially in the areas of retrieval, embeddings, vector and hybrid search and evaluation.
• In the development of agentic LLM applications and the implementation of complex, multi-level AI workflows, you have proven experience
• With cloud environments, you work securely, ideally with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Foundry and Cosmos DB or similar services, and bring experience in the containerization of applications.
• Your way of working is independent, structured and quality-oriented
• In addition, you have knowledge of German and English at least level B2
