The Cantonal Police of Zurich and its approximately 4,000 employees assume responsibility for security in the canton. On behalf of the Conference of Cantonal Police Commanders (KKPKS), the Cantonal Police of Zurich is operationalising parts of the police command team (FSTP), which operates on an inter-cantonal basis. The FSTP office is the linchpin of the cross-organisational militia body. For the further development and operation of the organization we are looking for a case officer in the police department (FSTP) 100% tasks

• Development of operational concepts and decision-making basis, processing and preparation of IKAPOL requests.
• Collaboration in operational assignments of the FSTP as a specialist.
• Further development of action guidelines, creation of basic documents, operational commands and provision of support services.
• Acquisition, analysis and dissemination of police information on security-related events, phenomena or events.
• Maintaining contact with partner organisations of the police association on the federal, cantonal and municipal levels.
• Communication with different stakeholders in all parts of Switzerland.
• Ensuring the accessibility of the office, managing various information channels, master data maintenance and management of specialist applications. Profile
• Completed training as a police officer (BP) with several years of professional experience and/or completed undergraduate studies (FH/University/ETH, e.g. engineering, business administration, political and political sciences) or equivalent experience.
• Good repute.
• Very good knowledge of at least two official languages and English.
• Experience in staff work and knowledge of operational operational planning.
• Very good editorial and analytical skills, networked thinking, strong interest in security policy issues.
• Communication strength and teamwork as well as a solution-oriented way of working.
• Resilient personality with high social competence and a strong sense of responsibility.
