Main responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of premium and loss-based payments, monitor their status during closing, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Perform reconciliations of G/L accounts.
- Conduct asset valuations.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Carry out other A&S month-end close activities.
- Actively contribute to and collaborate on continuous improvement projects.
- Understand the ICFR FS (Financial Services) framework, execute controls.
- Maintain regular contact with various stakeholders and US state representatives, both verbally and in writing. Candidate’s profile:
- Finance and Accounting, Economy or equivalent academic degree
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience (G/L and/or Accounts Payable preferred)
