Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Career Counselling Accompanying persons for families with mother tongue Dari/Farsi 10 - 20% Good for life - that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as professional counselling. Our work focuses on children, young people and families. We work for them every day with a lot of heart and commitment. As part of the Integration Agenda Zurich (IAZH), the office of the districts of Bülach and Dielsdorf has expanded its offering. Native-speaking escorts, so-called key persons, inform, accompany and network refugee families with preschool children and status S, N, F and B in the district of Bülach and Dielsdorf for interesting offers. We are looking for an accompanying person for the languages Dari/Farsi on an hourly basis. The position is limited to the end of 2027. Their main tasks:
- Home visits for families with children of preschool age in the municipalities of the districts of Bülach and Dielsdorf
- Offers of early support in the families make known and accompany families there
- Networking with local offers of early support
- Close cooperation and coaching with the project coordinator
- Regular participation in case meetings, sessions and training You bring:
- Migration experience and fluent oral and written knowledge in several of the above languages
- Good knowledge of German (level B2)
- High levels of self-employment, flexibility and social skills
- Knowledge of offers such as family centers, playgroups, daycare centers, etc.
