Role overview

Mission

Enable the Cash department to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence by driving cross-functional projects, coordinating stakeholders, reinforcing governance and controls, and providing senior support to Cash Transfers/FX/MM/Treasury operations teams.

The role complements day-to-day teams by focusing on transformation, automation, quality, and risk reduction, without direct BAU processing.

Main responsibilities

  • Main responsibilities Project leadership and delivery
  • Lead and coordinate projects impacting Cash Services end-to-end (target operating model, process re-engineering, automation, vendor/tooling changes, regulatory initiatives).
  • Own project lifecycle: scope, plan, steerco packs, RAID logs, testing strategy (UAT), go-live and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure alignment with group standards, audit recommendations, and regulatory changes. Departmental coordination and governance
  • Act as coordination hub between Cash teams, IT, Front Office, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and external counterparts.
  • Organize and run working groups, committees, and communication plans; ensure decisions are documented and followed up.
  • Track KPIs/SLAs, produce management reporting and dashboards, and drive action plans to improve service quality and efficiency. Process optimization and controls
  • Map and challenge existing processes (Transfers & Payments, FX/MM/Treasury Ops, Cards, Client Care interfaces) to improve STP rates, accuracy, and cost.
  • Identify operational risks, define/enhance controls, ensure timely escalation, and embed lessons learned.
  • Support the continuous review of procedures and contribute to audit/compliance responses. Senior support to operations
