The Department of Security and Justice (SJD) is the competence centre for public security in the Canton of St.Gallen.
It employs around 2000 people working in six different offices and in the General Secretariat.
The General Secretariat is the hub for the management of the department and provides central services for the whole department, in particular in the areas of personnel, law, finance, computer science and real estate.

- You analyze HR indicators, derive recommendations for action and actively participate in HR projects as well as the further development of processes and instruments What distinguishes you:
- You have a higher education in the field of HR, business administration or social sciences as well as ideally a further education in the HR area, for example the Swiss Federal Government. Professional ID HR
- You bring professional experience in human resource management or in a comparable HR function
- You advise leaders competently and meet different stakeholders at eye level
- You communicate clearly, stylishly and appropriately to the addressee and have a good sense of conflict resolution
- You think strategically and networked, act solution-oriented and keep an overview even in complex situations
- You convince through your own initiative, commitment as well as assertiveness and actively shape changes
