- Responsibility for the design of the warehouse layout as well as the optimal placement of new articles and the efficient management of the order picking stations in WAMAS
- Continuous analysis and optimization of the storage structure and the flow of goods according to ABC criteria to increase process efficiency
Main responsibilities
- Responsibility for the design of the warehouse layout as well as the optimal placement of new articles and the efficient management of the order picking stations in WAMAS
- Continuous analysis and optimization of the storage structure and the flow of goods according to ABC criteria to increase process efficiency
- Processing of quality withdrawals, novelties, old goods as well as action and remaining stocks with focus on efficiency and order
- Close cooperation with the purchasing, goods receipt and picking departments to continuously improve the storage processes
- Collaboration in lean management initiatives, inventory controls and inventories as well as co-responsibility for safety, cleanliness and order in the storage area Requirements
- Completed training in logistics and at least 2–3 years of professional experience in a logistics company
- Very good user knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel; Knowledge of WAMAS and SAP is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of current logistics processes, ideally in the food and non-food sector
- Structured, quality-conscious and independent working methods with a strong understanding of safety and quality standards
- Networked, solution-oriented way of thinking with a flair for numbers as well as an assertive, communicative and flexible personality with very good knowledge of German What we offer
