Role overview
Introduction Located on the Lausanne campus, within the Rolex Learning Center, the EPFL Library is a key partner of the university community.
The Library is a center of skills and expertise in scientific information, serving EPFL’s teaching and research missions.
The Training team (5 people) develops and offers a range of training courses for the EPFL student and research communities.

Company and context
- Development, organization and delivery of training
- To meet the needs of the EPFL community, in the Library's areas of expertise such as Information, Data and AI literacies
- Throughout the academic career, from the Bachelor level to the doctoral school
- In person or online, individually or for entire classes
- In close collaboration with specialists from the Library or EPFL
- Creation of training in various formats and typologies (workshop, guide and tutorials, online courses, etc.) to meet the needs of a young and demanding audience.
- Support for Library employees in terms of pedagogy, organization and logistics in their training activities
- Collaboration with internal and external EPFL partners to guarantee and develop a quality training offer
- Participation in welcoming Library users (information desk, approx. 2 hours/week) Your assets to succeed in this position:
- You have significant experience in training in an academic library or equivalent
Additional details
- You have basic knowledge of scientific communication and research data management.
