Role overview
Mission The CMi is a technological platform with a large fleet of micro- and nano-manufacturing equipment.
A multidisciplinary team of 25 people is responsible for ensuring its operation and development.
The platform welcomes more than 650 users annually, mainly doctoral students from EPFL, and also postdocs, students, internal and external researchers, as well as industrialists, all of whom carry out their own processes.

- Train users on the equipment.
Main responsibilities

- Train users on the equipment.
- Advise users on the best technological choices.
- Acquire, install, qualify and operate equipment whose value exceeds one million francs
- Work with external service providers.
- Document equipment and processes. Profile Profile sought:
- Master of sciences, or title deemed equivalent. Ideally with experience:
- in the fields of CVD, PVD or electroplating.
- in thin layer metrology. Personal and Social Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
