Role overview
Your missions, under the direct responsibility of the operational director:
Coordinate the maintenance team in charge of scientific equipment, infrastructure and IT equipment.
Organize maintenance and updates and ensure daily monitoring for air conditioning, media distribution and recovery.

- Be responsible for the proper functioning of the platform equipment by ensuring its maintenance, as well as repairs and troubleshooting as soon as possible.
- To benefit from industrial experience in semiconductors and controlled clean rooms.

- Main tasks and responsibilities
- Be responsible for the proper functioning of the platform equipment by ensuring its maintenance, as well as repairs and troubleshooting as soon as possible.
- Establish a coherent platform development plan with the appropriate installation of the equipment taking into account the specific specifications of each equipment.
- Coordinate and participate in the interventions, including with the support of the engineers responsible for the equipment, with the various central services of EPFL and with the external companies involved in the site.
- Implement the necessary tools to assess the performance of equipment and infrastructure.
- Follow-up of periodic inspections of infrastructure, equipment and clean rooms.
- Participate in the evaluation of new equipment.
- Define specifications when creating new premises.
- Plan in detail and actively manage the installation of new equipment and the dismantling of old equipment.
