Tasks

• Professional diagnosis and therapy of speech, speech, voice and swallowing disorders in neurological patients, in particular with tracheal cannulas
• Development, implementation and evaluation of individual therapy plans to improve swallowing function and communication skills
• Implementation of decannulation measures in close cooperation with doctors, nurses and physiotherapists
• Guidance and advice for patients, relatives and nurses in dealing with tracheal cannulas
• Documentation and evaluation of therapy progress according to clinical standards
• Requirements
• Completed study of speech therapy (with EDK recognition or willingness to obtain it)
• If possible, certified further training in tracheal cannula management
• If possible, experience in rehabilitative therapy and dysphagia and tracheal cannula management
• Pleasure in working independently and close to patients in an interprofessional team
• Responsibility, willingness to reflect as well as high social and communicative competence
• Very good oral and written German and English skills
