Role overview

Tasks

  • They are responsible for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring in head and spinal operations (SSEP, MEP, AEP, VEP, direct cranial nerve stimulation, phase reversal, D-wave monitoring, cortical and subcortical stimulation, etc.).
  • They are an integral part of the interdisciplinary team for carrying out wake operations including mapping and monitoring.
  • They support the medical team in carrying out diagnostic examinations of patients in the intensive care unit (evoked potentials, transcranial Doppler, etc.).
  • They are involved in establishing new examination procedures as well as quality assurance and improvement.
  • They have regular working hours (Monday to Friday) without the need for cooking services.

Requirements

  • You are a specialist in neurophysiological diagnostics (FND) or medical-technical assistant for functional diagnostics (MTAF).
  • You have prior knowledge of intraoperative neuromonitoring in neurosurgical procedures.
  • They have good IT knowledge and technical understanding.
  • They enjoy working in a team, can work independently, are flexible and are interested in learning new things.
