- Development and CAD-assisted design (solidworks) of complex test setups, test devices and prototypes
- Design and implementation of hardware-related software including the configuration of common communication interfaces
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field (FH/Uni/ETH)
- Proficient use of 3D CAD software (e.g., Solidworks)
Main responsibilities
- Development and CAD-assisted design (solidworks) of complex test setups, test devices and prototypes
- Design and implementation of hardware-related software including the configuration of common communication interfaces
- Programming and control of drive motors, measuring and sensor technology and the operation of material testing machines
- Own-responsible placement of biomechanical experimental arrangements and the systematic evaluation, interpretation and documentation of the results.
- Complete study of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable discipline (FH/Uni/ETH)
- Ideally, you have a previous vocational training as an automatic or designer, which complements your academic profile with valuable practical experience
- Versified handling of 3D CAD software (e.g.
- Solidworks) A precise, structured and quality-oriented procedure is of course for you
- High self-initiative and motivation to engage in a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment
- Impressed team and communication skills for cooperation at the interface between technology and medicine
Key requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field (FH/Uni/ETH)
- Proficient use of 3D CAD software (e.g., Solidworks)
- Expertise in integrating precision sensors and configuring and calibrating complex data acquisition systems (DAQ)
- Precise, structured, and quality-oriented work approach
- High personal initiative and motivation to engage in a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration at the interface between technology and medicine
- Fluent English skills (ideally also German)
