Mission
EPFL's Central Environmental Laboratory (CEL) is looking for a 50-60% scientific assistant to participate in an interdisciplinary research project dedicated to the study of human exposure to chemicals associated with microplastics by the respiratory route.
This project, carried out in collaboration with several Swiss universities, research centres and hospitals, aims to better understand the transfer and fate of chemical additives released by microplastics after inhalation, as well as their potential for lung exposure.

- design, conduct and document in vitro experiments on release and transfer of chemical additives associated with microplastics;
- prepare and analyse samples by analytical chemistry methods, including LC-MS/MS;
- processing, interpreting and presenting experimental data;
- contribute to the development and optimization of experimental and analytical protocols;
- work closely with the different scientific partners of the project from complementary disciplines;
- contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, publications and the presentation of project results. Profile
- Master in chemistry, biology or related science;
- ideally at least two years of professional or research experience after the Master;
