BMS Building Materials Switzerland is a wholesaler of construction materials for the large and second work. Our experienced specialists advise, support and inspire construction customers and private customers with a great deal of commitment on 110 sites throughout Switzerland. We are looking for, from 1 October or to agree, an entrepreneurial personality, capable of leading our internal sales department in the field of building technology and actively advancing the activity in the market. In this key role, you are the interface between internal service, external service, purchases, shops and Category Management, and you ensure that the Building Technique continues to grow in French-speaking Switzerland.

Missions

• You manage and develop the team of the internal service Customer Care Technique of the building, both functionally and managerially, at several sites (9 EFA).

• You are responsible for managing offers, including their follow-up, and you maintain a high conclusion rate.

• You define the prices and conditions for objects and large projects, while keeping the margin in mind.

• You actively accompany the external service in the field, follow customer projects and increase turnover in the construction technique.

• You negotiate with customers and suppliers and discuss sustainable and trust-based partnerships.

• You work closely with purchasing and Category Management, from project conditions to the launch of new products.

• You ensure a harmonised and consistent range in our shops.

• You process complaints and escalations and find quick and customer-oriented solutions.

• You establish reporting as a basis for piloting and continuously evolve processes and documentation.

• You make the linguistic and regional link between German-speaking Switzerland and French-speaking Switzerland.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in internal service or customer care, ideally in the trade of building materials, sanitary, heating or building technique.

• Strong knowledge of building technology (heating and sanitary), or willingness to get to know it quickly.

• Experience in team management and the pleasure of making employees grow.

• A strong business spirit: you organize the internal service while being actively present in the market. We're looking for a combative, proactive and present person.

• Strong negotiating capacity with clients, suppliers and purchases.

• French as a mother tongue, as well as good knowledge in German (B2), ideally even a bilingual profile. English is an asset.

• A good command of ERP and reporting tools, an analysis of indicators, and an affinity for processes and digitalisation.

• Business management training.

Requirements

• Plusieurs années d’expérience dans le service interne ou le customer care, idéalement dans le commerce des matériaux de construction, du sanitaire, du chauffage ou de la technique du bâtiment.

• De solides connaissances en technique du bâtiment (chauffage et sanitaire), ou la volonté de t’y familiariser rapidement.

• De l’expérience dans la gestion d’équipe et le plaisir de faire grandir les collaboratrices et collaborateurs.

• Un fort esprit commercial : tu organises le service interne tout en étant activement présent sur le marché. Nous recherchons une personne combative, proactive et présente là où il faut.

• Une forte capacité de négociation avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les achats.

• Le français comme langue maternelle, ainsi que de bonnes connaissances en allemand (B2), idéalement même un profil bilingue. L’anglais est un atout.

• Une bonne maîtrise des outils ERP et de reporting, de l’analyse des indicateurs, ainsi qu’une affinité pour les processus et la digitalisation.

• Une formation en gestion d’entreprise.

• Une voiture de fonction, pouvant également être utilisée à des fins privées.
