Full description

Amstein + Walthert is an engineering company with approximately 1100 employees. As engineers, planners and consultants, we deal with all aspects of building technology and infrastructure throughout their life cycle. Our solutions are innovative, elegant and durable. Your missions:

  • Independently pilot building automation projects (AdB) and RCM facilities, from preliminary study to commissioning, in all AIS phases.
  • To assume technical, administrative and financial responsibility for the mandates entrusted, including planning, monitoring of costs, timelines, quality and risks.
  • Define AdB/MCR concepts and architectures, challenge technical variants and ensure consistency of solutions with the principal's needs, applicable standards and energy objectives of the project.
  • Develop and validate project deliverables: concepts, functional descriptions, schematics and topologies, specifications, tender documents, bid analyses and implementation documents.
  • Advise applicants as reference interlocutor, present recommendations, arbitrate technical choices and ensure reliable reporting on project progress.
  • Coordinate design offices, architects, CVCSE specialists, integrators and companies, conduct technical sessions and monitor interfaces.
  • Supervise the execution, testing, commissioning, receipt and release of reserves, ensuring the performance and compliance of facilities.
  • Anticipate difficulties, make the necessary decisions within its scope and propose pragmatic corrective measures.
  • To act as the AdB/MCR technical reference within the project teams, to contribute to the development of internal standards and feedback, and to support the development of less experienced colleagues. Your skills and qualifications:
  • SWC-level technical training supplemented by higher education, ES, HES or equivalent in the fields of automation, electricity or building technology.
  • 5 years of successful experience in the complete and autonomous conduct of comparable AdB/MCR projects, including complex and multidisciplinary operations over several SIA phases.
  • Strong technical expertise in the field of CCV.
  • Strong mastery of building automation architectures, regulation and common communication protocols, as well as a good understanding of HVAC, sanitary and electrical interfaces.
  • Practical experience in AdB/MCR programming to evaluate proposed solutions, dialogue with integrators and solve complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume, without close supervision, the technical, contractual, financial and organisational issues of a mandate, to prioritize actions and to make reasoned decisions within its scope of responsibility.
  • Experience in dealing with applicants, conducting sessions, negotiating with partners and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Spirit of analysis and synthesis, sense of priorities, decision-making capacity and direction solutions.
  • Excellent writing convenience in French and mastery of the usual Microsoft Office tools.
  • Mastery of technical English; knowledge in German is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Revit/BIM and issues related to energy efficiency and digitization of buildings: a plus.
