Role overview
Digital Business supports the Migros Group in the development and provision of digital services and solutions so that the numerous digital touchpoints in the Migros ecosystem can provide optimal offers for our customers.
For our "Customer Experience" team, we are looking for support in the "Product Design Lead" function.

- Define and develop the strategy and roadmap for the Group-wide Design System (MDX) as well as ensure strategic alignment and goal achievement in coordination with stakeholders of all brands and product teams
- Control, prioritize and continuously develop the product and development backlog including requirements management, refinement of features and bug fixes as well as implementation of relevant exchange and control vessels
Main responsibilities
- Define and develop the strategy and roadmap for the Group-wide Design System (MDX) as well as ensure strategic alignment and goal achievement in coordination with stakeholders of all brands and product teams
- Control, prioritize and continuously develop the product and development backlog including requirements management, refinement of features and bug fixes as well as implementation of relevant exchange and control vessels
- Professional management of the design system context without line responsibility including coordination of tasks, design reviews, quality assurance and cross-divisional coordination
- Further develop/responsible for components, patterns, design tokens, guidelines, documentation & technical foundations to ensure a consistent, scalable design system across all digital touchpoints (including AI agents)
- Responsible for the design system and Figma landscape including administration, governance, access management, support and further development of company-wide deployment
- Planning and controlling resources, budget and licenses, and promoting the adoption of the design system through training, workshops, and communication of progress, KPIs, and success metrics Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience: with hands-on skills in UX design, design systems or digital product development, ideally in a complex, cross-organisational environment
- Completed studies (uni/ETH, FH, HF): in the field of UX/service design, computer science or a comparable education
Application process
- In-depth understanding of design systems, component architectures and design tokens as well as their application in practice (advantage with experience in design system governance)
- Experience in the use of AI tools & skills (e.g. Figma MCP)
- Experience in controlling digital products or platforms (e.g. backlog management, prioritization, OKRs, agile working methods)
- Strong ability to think strategically and take responsibility for issues end-to-end, from conception to implementation
