Description In the Water & Environment team we design the water infrastructure of tomorrow – sustainable, innovative and with real impact for the environment and society.
- Intern:in Wasser & Abwasser 80-100%
- Zürich — AFRY, Zurich.
- Cooperation in versatile projects in the water and construction industry – from hydraulics to wastewater treatment to settlement water management and construction planning
- Supporting project teams in calculations, concepts, variant comparisons, data evaluations and reporting
- studies in civil or environmental engineering (ETH or FH), at least in the 6th Semester
- Interest in the interface between engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental technology and authorities
Main responsibilities
- Cooperation in versatile projects in the water and construction industry – from hydraulics to wastewater treatment to settlement water management and construction planning
- Supporting project teams in calculations, concepts, variant comparisons, data evaluations and reporting
- Participation in project meetings and construction site visits
- are individually tailored to the technical background (construction or environmental engineering)
Key requirements
- studies in civil or environmental engineering (ETH or FH), at least in the 6th Semester
- Interest in the interface between engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental technology and authorities
- Enthusiasm for topics such as urban water management, hydraulics, process engineering and material cycles
- Joy in learning and developing new tools such as Python, Visio, Hybeka or SWMM
- Self-working, self-initiative and team spirit
- Commitment for living water and environmental protection
- Interdisciplinary teams and modern planning methods
- Building practical experience and valuable contacts in the industry
