• Authenticate, read, validate and evaluate electronic data
• Conduct safety investigations efficiently and purposefully
• Develop and propose preventive measures to improve civil aviation
• Write reports that are comprehensible to the public and relevant to accident prevention
• Make extraordinary and time-critical missions outside the usual framework
• Higher or higher education degree or equivalent professional competence in technical specialisation
• many years of professional experience in the use of data recording systems, where possible in the read-out and processing of flight data from avionics and flight recorders; broad knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of artificial intelligence as well as experience in its application
• Basic and broad knowledge of civil aviation, pilot license desired
• Very good editorial skills
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language, very good knowledge of English
