- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid academic knowledge and proven ability in one or more areas relevant to mobile robotics, such as Control Theory, Machine Learning, Computer Vision.

- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid academic knowledge and proven ability in one or more areas relevant to mobile robotics, such as Control Theory, Machine Learning, Computer Vision.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++ (Modern C++ is highly valued).
- Software Development Skills: Experience with Git, Docker, and AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in our highly interdisciplinary, English-speaking environment.
- Attitude: A hands-on, proactive, and analytical attitude towards complex problem-solving and eagerness to learn rapidly.

- We are looking for a Reinforcement Learning for Robotic Navigation intern to join our Advanced Technology team and contribute to advancing ANYmal's mobility capabilities.
- Utilizing the latest reinforcement learning techniques and simulation tools, we define, train, and integrate ML models into ANYmal to safely and robustly navigate challenging industrial environments.
- Your role includes evaluating and fine tuning state of the art RL-based navigation & locomotion policies in simulation and on real quadruped robots.
- This internship provides a profound and impactful opportunity to work at the forefront of machine learning in robotics, playing a significant role in shaping ANYmal's autonomous capabilities and contributing to real-world applications.
- You will work closely with Robotics experts and research partners who will provide you with guidance and mentorship.
