- Deliver the teaching and learning of physical education throughout the whole school effectively
- At LCIS, we offer a unique blend of international education and strong local community ties with English, French, and bilingual pathways, leading to the globally recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Main responsibilities
- It is in this dynamic environment that we invite you to join our team as: Teacher of Physical Education (maternity replacement) 100% – from December 2026 to October 2027 Responsibilities:
- Deliver the teaching and learning of physical education throughout the whole school effectively
- Contribute to a programme of trips, excursions, fieldtrips and extracurricular activities
- Coordinate the school ski programme of ski days, residentials, ski club and ski team
- Lead and participate in primary and secondary winter and summer residential trips
- Lead and participate in the sports department residential trips Accompany the teams to sport tournaments
- Promote the health and safety of assigned classes
- Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training/meetings
- Enhance the professional standing of the teaching body
- Contribute to the development of a positive attitude between the physical education department and the wider community through cooperative relations, publications, competitions etc.
