Adult Emergency Nurses (H/F) at 80%-100%

The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a reference intercantonal hospital, which brings together more than 2,500 collaborators. Rennaz Hospital has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics and two medical clinics. All employees invest on a daily basis to provide quality care to patients, embodying the values of the institution: authenticity, exemplaryness and innovation.

The mission of the Rennaz Emergency Service is to welcome, assess, stabilize and orient any adult requiring health care, 24/7. The medico-nursing team is made up of more than 100 staff members who receive approximately 35,000 patients per year. The service is equipped with a reception and yard area, an outpatient care area (fast lane) with 4 reception places open from 10am to 10pm, a care area of 13 places for more complex care, a short-term hospital unit with 9 beds and an echo room dedicated to the care of patients in absolute emergency.

The main tasks of this post are

• To receive the patient and his/her entourage in a manner appropriate to the situation, taking into account the state of health

of the patient as from admission

• Ensure a structured and continuous approach to care and clinical reasoning using means

institutional

• Contributing to the patient's care and guidance project
• To keep the patient informed of the care project, to ensure his/her understanding and acceptance, and to ensure that the patient

actively participate in the process

• Addressing the health and social needs of patients, in particular the replacement of DVAs, support

moral, spiritual and relational, respecting their habits, values and beliefs

• Prevent functional decline by stimulating patient activity and mobilization through support

individual adapted to each situation

We ask

• A nursing degree or a title deemed equivalent and recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
• Post-diploma training in emergency care, or one-year experience in an emergency department or 2 years of acute care experience
• Excellent listening, observation, adaptation, anticipation and stress management
• A motivated, rigorous and dynamic person with a sense of responsibility
