La Source Clinic is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. It belongs to the La Source Foundation, an independent, private, not-for-profit institution that also oversees the Institut et Haute École de la Santé La Source. The independence conferred by this status allows him to invest continuously in human and technological terms in order to guarantee his patients the best possible care. We are looking for a Nurse for our unit in medicine and multipurpose surgery with 90% oncological dominance

Key Position Information

Reference : CLS/RH/2026.776 / Type of contract : Contract with Indeterminate Duration 90% / Hours : from Monday to Sunday in 12 hours of day (7h-20h) / Date of entry : as soon as we find the right person / Location : in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop « Riponne » or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop « Beaulieu-Jomini »)

What will you have to do?

• Ensure appropriate and individualized nursing in accordance with quality and safety rules
• Provide care for pre- and post-operative patients in general surgery
• Accompany patients at different stages of oncological disease and their relatives and administer specific treatments
• Accurately apply hygiene and aseptic rules
• Collaborate closely with all health professionals involved in care
• Contribute to the supervision and training of students
• Inform the computerized patient record and ensure traceability of the care performed
• Active participation in development and continuous improvement projects

Who are you going to work with?

The team is composed of 30 employees (infirmary, ASSC and nursing assistants). Our team is solar, dynamic and works in solidarity to be able to offer together the best care to our patients hospitalized.

In this position, you will refer to Sarah Savary (ICUS) and Pauline Stival (ICUS Assistant), Head of Care Unit. With more than 12 years of experience in acute care, including 7 years at the Clinique de La Source, ICSUs contribute to the development of each team member's skills by ensuring that they always maintain a climate of trust and benevolence.

What do we expect from you?

The indispensables

• Diploma of HES nurse or equivalent, recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
• Excellent organizational and relational skills, with ease to evolve in various environments (medicine and surgery)
• Strong sense of responsibility, strong team spirit and real commitment to collaboration and mutual assistance
• Ability to effectively manage stress and deal with unforeseen events with cold blood
• Flexibility and availability to adapt to fluctuations in activity
• Affirmed versatility and interest in the richness of multidisciplinary care

• Professional experience in oncology, medicine and/or surgery
