Description of the post

In your new duties, your missions have an impact on the quality of care for residents. Your role will include:

• Developing the autonomous nursing role and nursing posture: organizing, planning and implementing the care of residents in the geriatric or psycho-geriatric department of EMS
• Provides leadership to the health care team (composed of nursing, ASA, nursing, and CASS)
• Develop a personalized care of residents
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team
• Transmit and retransmit observations in a targeted and relevant manner in the residents' computerized file
• Supervision of nursing and apprentice students

Profile required

We are confident of your rapid success in your future functions through your:

• Interest in the care of the elderly and/or dependent and/or with cognitive impairment
• Assertivity in the function, experience in EMS or acute care would be an asset
• Patience, empathy, active listening, high verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Good physical and psychological resistance

Level of training

Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing Required (or title deemed equivalent approved by the Swiss Red Cross)
