Role overview

Tasks

• You take responsibility for central IT services in the areas of storage, cloud, virtualization and hybrid infrastructure and ensure stable, secure and efficient service operations.

• In a complex multi-provider environment, you control internal and external service providers, monitor services and ensure compliance with the agreed service levels.

• They accompany the entire service lifecycle – from conception through introduction to continuous development. You actively contribute your technical know-how to storage systems, in particular NetApp, Microsoft Azure, virtualization and data center operations.

• They work closely with architecture, operations, security and external partners, support engineering and operational issues and ensure transparency, quality and commitment in service management.

Requirements

• You have completed training in computer science or a comparable qualification as well as experience in IT service management, provider management or in the engineering / operation of complex IT infrastructures.

• They bring in-depth knowledge in several of the following areas: storage systems such as NetApp, Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Cloud, virtualization, server infrastructure, backup, monitoring or ITIL-based operating processes.

• They combine technical understanding with structured service responsibility, work solution-oriented and maintain an overview even in complex situations.

• We require a very good knowledge of German. Knowledge of English as well as certifications in ITIL, Azure, storage or virtualization are beneficial.
