Full description
Founded in Lausanne in 1843, the Asylum Foundation for the Blind includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, a university department of ophthalmology, a research centre, the Centre pédagogique pour épupils handicapés de la vue (CPHV), the social service, rehabilitation and low vision and the medical-social establishment Clair-Soleil.
More than 600 employees work every day in the service of visual health to offer diagnostic, treatment and support services to people with vision.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Health assistant or caregiver
Your Mission
- Providing basic care and accompanying residents in the activities of daily life and/or medical-delegated acts;
- To guide elderly people in their visual health;
- Participate in interdisciplinarity support projects;
- Take care of the resident's environment and ensure its comfort.
Your assets
- Certificate of medical assistant of the Red Cross imperative, diploma of medical assistance or AFP of assistance in care and accompaniment
- A first successful professional experience of at least 6 months in EMS
- Listening quality and benevolence
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Rigor and reliability
- Access to IT
- Good command of the French language.
