- They act as technical bridge-builders between medical needs and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring our digital healthcare applications are secure, scalable and user-friendly.
- Development & solution architecture: Design and implementation of scalable fullstack web applications (frontend & backend) for clinical and administrative use.
- AI integration: Development and integration of machine learning models, LLMs (large language models) and deterministic AI services into existing and new applications to support diagnostic or administrative processes.
- Data & Interfaces: Connecting applications to clinical primary systems (KIS/HIS) using modern interoperability standards (e.g.
- FHIR, HL7) and ensuring smooth data exchange.
- Security by Design: Ensuring the highest security standards and data protection compliance (DSG/DSGVO) in the processing of sensitive patient data in close coordination with the data protection officer.
- DevOps & Cloud: Establishment and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and management of the cloud infrastructure for the operation of AI solutions.
- Prototyping: Rapid development of proof-of-concepts (PoC) to evaluate and make tangible the potential of new AI technologies for everyday hospital life.
