The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a reference inter-cantonal hospital with over 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital, inaugurated in late 2019, has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics and two medical clinics. All employees invest on a daily basis to provide quality care for patients, embodying the institution's values of authenticity, exemplaryness and innovation.

To complete our hospitality and catering unit, we are looking for a:

Professional M/F server in EXTRA restoration on time

The main tasks of this post are

Restoration

• Provide professional and caring service, ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of patients, visitors and staff.
• Set up and perform a neat and efficient service in our various dining spaces.
• Cash consumption, manage the caisse rigorously and accurately, and ensure that the workstations are kept in perfect condition.
• Resupply windows and stocks according to the FIFO principle, paying constant attention to the freshness and quality of products.
• Ensure cleanliness, order and cleanliness of outlets, strictly respecting hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, food safety).
• Actively participate in continuous process improvement and in maintaining a safe and welcoming working environment.

Hospitality

• Warmly welcome patients and visitors, empathy and professionalism, and respond to their needs with kindness.
• Take orders of meals with precision and clarity in the dedicated software, respecting the particulars of food.
• Distribute the meal trays and ensure a discreet and neat storage, respecting the rhythm and comfort of the patients.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of food offices, in accordance with hospital hygiene procedures.
• Prepare and dispose of equipment and goods with thoroughness and method.

Catering and events

• Welcome and serve the public at events, ensuring a quality experience and seamless service.
• Perform the services according to the function sheets, ensuring the elegance of the presentation and the sense of detail.
• Store, store and organize equipment in an optimal and secure manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly workspace.

We ask

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant sector required.
• An experience in banquet, catering or event highly appreciated.
• An experience in high-end catering and/or hospital settings is a valuable asset.

Your skills

• Excellent knowledge of HACCP standards, proactive sales techniques, and ability to value the products offered.
• A culinary curiosity and oenological interest, with a capacity to advise and guide customers.
• A mastery of computer tools (TCPOS, Eventbrite, Logimen would be an asset).
• Current French (oral/written) required, English level B2 required, other welcome language(s).
• A strong sense of operational excellence, detail and cleanliness.

Your training

• A CFC of recognized catering specialist or equivalent, or significant experience (3 years min.) in traditional hotel-restaurant required.
• A desired Barista training.
• Training in hotels or events is a valued asset.
