Ergotherapist (M/F)

Participation rate between 60% and 100% Undetermined fixed-term contract

Your Mission

• Assess the needs of the client and his/her environment, as well as his/her level of independence in carrying out day-to-day activities, and prepare an assessment of the functional capabilities, based on available resources
• Restoring conditions that enable clients to carry out their daily activities independently, by providing ancillary means and facilities for the living environment and their occupational profile
• Support clients in developing new physical, psychological and social skills. Actively contribute to the home care of clients through prevention and health promotion measures while taking into account individual needs with personalized care and promoting client autonomy
• Participate in the development of the client therapeutic project within the interdisciplinary team
• Participation in development projects and working groups on continuous improvement of benefits in the field of home care and care
• Actively collaborate in the activities of interdisciplinary teams with a specific role allowing you to value your occupational therapist profession as a full-fledged part of the health system

Your profile and skills

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or equivalent (foreign diploma recognized by the CRS)
• Authorization to practice or ready to initiate the proceedings - conditional on the undertaking
• Experience in physical or psychiatric hospital service, rehabilitation service, home care or private practice an asset
• Strong interest in community health
• Ability to collaborate in networking and multidisciplinarity
• A sense of responsibility, ability to organize independently and set priorities
