A graduate educator at 80% in CDI, 80% Deployed at several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a housing department for adults with disabilities, intellectual disability or physical problems, a specialised school and a workshop and vocational training sector. The department of the special school "La Passerelle" welcomes children aged 6 to 18 years with learning and development difficulties. It provides comprehensive support to the child, including formal training, therapeutic interventions and follow-up and educational follow-up, with the possibility of weekly accommodation and after-school reception. For our weekly accommodation which accommodates 14 young people of school age, and our out-of-school sector we are looking for:

An 80% graduate educator in CDI

The main task will be to provide educational support to children/adolescents, fostering the link between school life, leisure time and family life. The activity is divided between support in week accommodation and the animation of extracurricular activities (sports, homework, cultural activities, etc.). In close collaboration with families and the professional network, you will contribute to the development and implementation of an individualised project tailored to each young person, as part of an intervention aimed at learning about autonomy, self-determination and based on the resources and skills of young people and their families. As an experienced person, able to manage projects, you can offer fun and fulfilling activities, whether group or individual. You will be able to put into perspective and reflection a systemic and multidisciplinary approach based on respect for the responsibility, autonomy and vulnerability of everyone. Dynamic, communicator, you have a strong interest in interdisciplinary team work. The working hours are annualized and range from 7 to 10 p.m., Monday noon to Friday noon. Services are closed during Vaud school holidays.
