Deployed at several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations at two sites, two departments for adults with disabilities, with an intellectual disability with a physical problem, a specialized school and a workshop and vocational training sector respectively.

Specialist educator CDI-Activity rates to be agreed

At the Institution of Lavigny, we accompany adults with disabilities to their daily lives in a variety of places: polyhandicap, intellectual disability, aging.

Your mission

• Accompany residents and organize daily life at the place of life, share and animate their daily lives with a focus on trust and respect.
• Ensure physical and mental well-being, socialization of residents and value their social skills and roles.
• Observe the health of the resident on a daily basis and act appropriately according to needs (intervention, call to the care centre and doctor, information to colleagues and follow-up as appropriate).
• Implement personal projects according to the general goals and objectives of the place of life set at the interdisciplinary project meeting.
• Work closely with the day shift, night shift and external stakeholders in a spirit of interdisciplinarity.
• Promote and develop partnership in relations with families and legal representatives.
• Participate in the development and implementation of sector and living area projects.
• To contribute to the development of the quality of benefits to residents and the conditions under which they are delivered.

Your profile

• Diploma ASE / ASSC / HES / ES or recognized equivalence.
• Experience in accompanying people with disabilities.
• Driver's license.
