Attached to the Vaudois Judicial Order, the canton's nine justices of peace rule at first instance in civil matters. They are also authorities for the protection of adults and children. In order to complete the management, the Justice de Paix of the district of Lausanne , which employs nearly 50 magistrates and collaborators , is seeking a Director of the Judicial Office (First Registrar).

• Provide the magistrate with the necessary assistance to the management of the Office
• Management of the staff of the Office (40 employees)
• Assisting the magistrates of the Office in their judicial activities
• Assisting the ex officio chief magistrate in the financial and accounting management of the Office

• Master's degree in law, or equivalent
• Further training in personnel management/management
• Professional experience of 6-8 years
• Very good knowledge of the judicial system and Swiss law
• Knowledge of the methods and rules of management and operation of the Cantonal Administration Vaudoise an asset
• Effectiveness in multi-purpose task management, sense of organization and planning in personnel, finance and infrastructure
• Mastery of common IT tools and legal drafting. Compliance, rigour and accuracy
• Open personality, solution oriented and customer-oriented. Ability to listen, communicate and manage complex situations As part of the recruitment process, applicants will be required to submit an extract from the prosecution register and a criminal record of less than 3 months.
