We are looking for Paraplegia bed stations by arrangement

- The Centre for Paraplegia at Balgrist University Hospital guarantees comprehensive care for paraplegic people.
- They care for patients with para- and tetraplegic or neurological diseases in acute situations and in the rehabilitation process
- As a reference nurse, you are actively involved in the patient’s rehabilitation process and regularly exchange information about the development steps and objectives in the interdisciplinary team.
Main responsibilities
- They care for patients with para- and tetraplegic or neurological diseases in acute situations and in the rehabilitation process
- As a reference nurse, you are actively involved in the patient’s rehabilitation process and regularly exchange information about the development steps and objectives in the interdisciplinary team.
- They support patients and relatives in their difficult situation, accompany the processing process and provide support for their reintegration into everyday life.
- They act preventively against complications, perform patient education and also accompany and instruct relatives Requirements
- You have a degree as dipl.
- Nursing professional HF/FH, ideally you bring professional experience
- You are committed to a professional, long-term relationship with patients and their relatives in the combination of acute and rehabilitation care
- They enjoy working in a large care team, bring a high level of customer orientation and appreciate the close cooperation in the interdisciplinary team.
- They show great interest in participating in innovations and like to try out new approaches
- They value the targeted promotion of patients’ resources in everyday care
