Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator (OHS) - 80%

Your Mission

• Deploy and monitor the approach to the prevention of occupational hazards (biological, chemical, physical, ergonomic, psychosocial and organisational).
• Ensure the management of employees in absence or in a complex health situation and coordinate maintenance and return to work.
• Advise managers and collaborate with internal and external partners (AVASAD, GSE and safety specialists, insurance, external experts, occupational medicine, etc.)
• To lead OSH bodies, coordinate prevention actions and participate in institutional projects.
• Promote good practices in hygiene, infection prevention, ergonomics and the use of protective equipment.
• Develop and update workplace health and safety communications procedures, tools and materials.
• To raise awareness and train employees in order to strengthen the culture of prevention.

Your profile and skills

• Bachelor or equivalent in the fields of health, humanities or social sciences
• Further training in occupational health and/or social insurance
• Project management training or case management, an asset
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in occupational health, community health, prevention or in an area related to health and safety.
• Mastery of the legal framework and the MSST system
• Demonstrated skills in health prevention and promotion
• Excellent networking and collaboration capacities and multidisciplinarity
• Perspective and global vision
• Emotional control and stress management
• Very good listening and analysis skills
• Diplomacy and sense of communication
• Priority capacity
• Awareness and professional ethics
