The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a reference intercantonal hospital with over 2,000 collaborators. Rennaz Hospital has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics and two medical clinics. To complete its team, the accounting department located in Vevey, is looking for a:

Accountant - Management controller M/F at 60%-100%

The main tasks of this post are

• Periodically prepare financial data for budget officials and the Finance Directorate (closure, extrapolation and budget)
• Consolidate budget managers' data, analyse variances and accompany them in their budget monitoring
• Analyze and monitor financial and analytical accounting
• Maintain and develop financial data consolidation tools
• Conduct specific analyses related to on-demand accounting
• Contribute to cross-cutting projects to improve financial data tools and quality
• Ensuring the transition from audit by nature to audit by service
• Actively participate in quarterly and annual loops
• Support the Manager Accountants and the Service Chief in their operations and the implementation of new processes
• Support the medico-economic team in the development of analytical accounting and statistics, as well as cost-effectiveness and cost-per-case analyses

We ask

• A federal certificate of specialist in finance and accounting or an equivalent title
• A very good mastery of Excel and, ideally, knowledge of Tableau (BI)
• Successful professional experience of at least 3 years in accounting
• A positive and proactive personality
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Good relational skills and an analytical mind
• A knowledge of the hospital domain and Opale software, a serious asset
