The agricultural estate of the Orbe Plains Establishments (EPO) is Switzerland's third largest agricultural estate. It comprises 360 hectares, exploited with the participation of detained persons, under the supervision of workshop managers. The activities are directed both towards plant and animal production, with particular attention to the development of short circuits for the supply of the establishment. In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for an agricultural worker who wants to invest in a demanding and meaningful environment. • Collaborate in the work related to plant production: carrying out all mechanical works inherent in a farm of more than three hundred and fifty hectares (soil work, sowing, harvesting, threshing).
• Carry out arboriculture and viticulture work.
• Collaborate in animal production work: care for the animals of the various products in the field (bovine sector, poultry farming, pigs), participate in the preparation of feed for animals and collaborate in the slaughter and preparation of poultry.
• Deliver products from the domain to trading partners, ensuring good contact with them, in order to promote the image of EPOs.
• Collaborate in the maintenance of agricultural machinery and perform maintenance and tidying of the approaches to buildings and operations. • Farmer's CFC or equivalent.
• Driver's licence and licence for the use of required telescopic equipment.
• Permit to treat, an asset.
• Basic knowledge in the maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.
• A spirit of openness and flexibility, planning and organizational sense, analytical and synthesis capabilities, rigour, spirit of mutual assistance and collaboration, communication capabilities.
