Within the Directorate-General for Human Resources, the day-care centres of the cantonal administration in Vaud offer 132 pre-school placements for the children of the employees of the state of Vaud in order to be able to better reconcile family life and working life. Missions

• To supervise, in a team, the young child on the educational level and to implement actions promoting his development and his motor, cognitive, emotional and social development.
• To ensure the transition from family life to that of a reception structure for the young child.
• To ensure good cooperation with the parents, respecting the private sphere.
• To work within the Centre de vie enfantine La Fourmi with the group of means/grands.
