For our new Tertianum Le Rolliet establishment in Plan-les-Ouates (GE), which will open in April 2026, we are looking for a
Chief Nurse 80–100%
Your role
You are responsible for the quality and organisation of the care service and accompany a team of about 50 professionals, including two IRUs and apprentices.
Your role is to create a structured, clear and collaborative framework in which processes, responsibilities and management of clinical situations are defined and secure. You shall ensure that everyone can develop his/her skills, take his/her place and act independently, in order to provide high-quality care for the quality of life, well-being and safety of residents.
Your main responsibilities
- Participate in the construction, deployment and improvement of processes in order to secure the work of the teams and to develop the quality of the services since the opening of the establishment.
- Ensure the quality, safety and conformity of care services and processes according to Tertianum concepts and cantonal requirements.
- Ensure the overall management of the employees of the service, in collaboration with the IRUS for operational management, and contribute to their development and quality of life at work
- Organize and plan work in compliance with labour law, the CMS Geneva CTC and Tertianum guidelines.
- Promote a person-centred approach that takes into account one's history, resources, habits, choices and abilities.
- Actively collaborate in a multidisciplinarity and complementarity approach, with other areas of the institution and participate in the life of the institution.
- Maintain a relationship of trust with residents and their relatives, based on listening, empathy and respect.
- Work actively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in the life of the institution.
- Represent care to external partners and during audits.
- Work closely with management and monitor the department's budgetary objectives.
Your profile
- ES/HES nursing degree or equivalent training recognised by the Swiss Red Cross, CAS in management an asset
- Experience with elderly people; experience in psychogeriatry or psychiatric rehabilitation, an asset.
- Successful experience in team leadership and adaptive leadership, oriented support, accountability and people development.
- Good knowledge of Geneva's health network, partners and quality requirements for MSBs.
- Good knowledge of labour legislation and the CMS Geneva CTC, with the ability to integrate them into organization and planning.
- Taste for the construction and structuring of processes, especially in the context of an establishment opening.
- Experience in assessing resident profiles using the PLAISIR/Plex tool, an asset.
- Ability to unite, work in interdisciplinarity and build trust with teams, other secturs, residents and their relatives.
- A sense of organisation, autonomy, dynamism and very good command of French, both oral and written, English a real asset.
