The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a reference intercantonal hospital, which brings together more than 2,500 collaborators. Rennaz Hospital has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics and two medical clinics. Linked to the Directorate of Administration and Finance, we are looking for:

Head of Unit Invoice M/F at 80%-100%

The main tasks of this post are

• Manage and develop the billing team.
• Pilot and supervise hospital billing activities.
• Ensure the quality, completeness and timeliness of invoices.
• Monitor billing processes and identify causes of delay or non-compliance.
• Coordinate the activities between the different sites and contacts of the two cantons.
• Work closely with medical, administrative, financial and insurance services.
• Monitor rejections, corrections, challenges and complex cases until resolved.
• Develop and monitor performance and quality indicators.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and pilot process optimization actions.
• Monitor regulatory and tariff developments affecting hospital billing.

We ask

• An experience in team management and change management.
• Demonstrated managerial skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced training in management, finance, hospital administration or equivalent.
• A confirmed experience in hospital billing or in a health environment.
• A good knowledge of the Swiss health system, insurance and the main hospital pricing mechanisms.
• An ease in coordinating activities involving several sites and stakeholders.
• A strong sense of quality, rigour and timeliness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
