- Manage daily / weekly / monthly / annual Cash- and Securities- reconciliation processes by identifying discrepancies and allocating them to the relevant departments
- University degree in Finance / Accounting / Controlling or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education
- 5 years of practical experience in the field of Operations / Backoffice or Finance / Controlling
Main responsibilities
- Your Responsibilities
- Manage daily / weekly / monthly / annual Cash- and Securities- reconciliation processes by identifying discrepancies and allocating them to the relevant departments
- Reconcile physical securities and land registry extracts by physical stock taking
- Investigate issues, monitor open items and follow up on resolutions
- Coordinate special reconciliations completed by various teams within Operations
- Participate in the annual Audit in relation to the reconciliation process
- Contribute to the process improvements and automation efforts in order to support efficiency gains and operational risk mitigation
Key requirements
- University degree in Finance / Accounting / Controlling or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education
- 5 years of practical experience in the field of Operations / Backoffice or Finance / Controlling
- industry specific knowledge is an advantage Excellent Microsoft Office skills Avaloq experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
- Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus Your Benefits
