Role overview

As a cantonal inspector for food security and consumption, you hold a key role in the Office of Consumer Affairs (OFCO), attached to the Department of Agriculture, Sustainability and Climate and Digital Affairs.

A field manager and community manager, you coordinate and accompany the team of inspectors in carrying out official controls, inspections and monitoring of risks related to food safety and consumer protection.

In close cooperation with the cantonal chemist and the alternate cantonal chemist, you contribute to the implementation of the Office's strategic guidelines and to the development of benefits.

Key requirements

  • Federal Diploma in Official Food Control (DCAL) and Federal Diploma in Official Food Control (DDCAL) - possibility of completing these trainings during the first two years of employment
