Full description

As a social worker at the Welcome School Station site, you are helping to provide psycho-social support to young people for their integration into a vocational training project. You support and accompany students and families with personal, family, socio-administrative or financial difficulties. You work closely with other members of the school's resource group. • Evaluate situations, conduct interviews and provide necessary socio-educational and administrative follow-up.
• Promote school-family-social network links and social and administrative integration of students.
• Assist students in their administrative processes.
• Supervise and notify student financial assistance applications.
• Participate in the various work sessions related to the life of the institution and student support.
• Ensure linkages with partner institutions and carry out administrative tasks related to the function.
• Bachelor of Social Work (HES) or equivalent
• Professional experience with young people and where possible in the field of social and vocational integration - 5 years
• Knowledge of the area of migration and the desired Vaud school system
• Interest in multidisciplinary work, active listening and empathy
